Local Ministries

We invite you to join us for Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. or worship at 10:45 a.m.
on Sunday mornings. We follow the CDC guidelines: We no longer require worshipers to wear a mask in church. We do ask that you be respectful of others as they make their own decisions on this matter.

AWANA
AWANA is a Christian Education program for children ages 3 through 5 th grade. This program is on Wednesdays from 6:00 – 7:20 p.m. For more information contact the

Craig and Allison Fowler
Ethiopia

Craig and Allison live in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.  Craig is the team leader for the church planting team. He also trains evangelists and oversees planting churches in new outreach areas. The Fowlers are responsible for running a clean water well project that involves drilling wells in areas where there is little or no access to clean water. Allison produces clean water and health education materials to be taught in those communities.  They have three children: Zane (2000), Ezra (2003) and Anna (2006). Annie and Jeff Dieselberg
​Thailand

Annie and Jeff Dieselberg are based in Bangkok, Thailand, a bustling metropolis of more than 10 million people. They both serve at the NightLight Foundation and NightLight Design Co. Ltd.  NightLight is committed to addressing the complex issues surrounding trafficking and prostitution by catalyzing individual and community transformation. NightLight's vision is to offer intervention to sexually exploited women and children, to enable them to discover their dignity and to provide a program of holistic transformation, empowering them to live and work in their communities.  More information can be found here.

Katie and Taku Longkumer
​India

Rev. Taku and Rev. Katie Longkumer serve as country co-coordinators for India, providing mission organization for International Ministries personnel and partners in the country. They also serve as advisors and consultants to the Baptist Churches Council in Eastern India and to the Council of Baptist Churches in North East India (CBCNEI). Taku works with CBCNEI and its six member conventions to strengthen mission training, supervision, caring and support, while Katie’s focus is promoting worship and providing counseling training. Katie and Taku also serve with the India Mission Coordination Committee, which strengthens network and mission cooperation of Baptist churches in India. You can find more information here.

Ann and Bruce Borquist
​Asia

Ann and Bruce serve as regional consultants with partner Baptist conventions in the Asia-Pacific Region, including Cambodia, Indonesia, New Zealand, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. They work alongside national leaders to build capacity in theological education, church-based community and economic development, servant leadership, social entrepreneurship, cross-cultural global servant training and ministry with refugees.  You can find more information here.

Aphiwan (Tan) and Scott Coats
Thailand

Tan (Aphiwan) and Scott are jointly appointed missionaries of International Ministries and HOPE International Development Agency. From their home in Chiang Rai, Thailand, they support Thai nationals in their own ministries as they seek to impact the lives of the ethnic minority peoples who inhabit the hills of northern Thailand, the Eastern Shan State of Myanmar and neighboring countries. These partner organizations empower communities to organize for social and economic change.  You can find more information here.

Larry and Rebecca Stanton
​Hungary

Larry and Becky are currently serving with International Ministries partners Hungarian Baptist Aid and the Baptist Union of Hungary. Becky works with schools in the eastern region of the country, primary and elementary community schools in Téglás and a technical high school in Debrecen. Larry assists Serbian Baptist churches in Stara Moravica and Paçer with their service to the community and to refugees along the Balkan route. Larry and Becky’s three daughters attend local schools, learning Hungarian and teaching English as only children can.  You can find more information here.

Amanda and Jon Good
Hungary

The Rev. Dr. Jon and Amanda Good serve through ministries of evangelism, discipleship, education and theological education in partnership with the Baptist Union of Hungary. Amanda assists with education at the school managed by the Baptist Church in Debrecen, as well as those managed by Hungarian Baptist Aid  You can find more information here.
